Nah he has played far better in the latter part of the season. He made a couple of early howlers, but has improved beyond measure. I am sure Tim can testify this fact.

i was about to agree that gomes is a completely different player now and is playing great but stopped myself. instead i say gomes was a completely different player under juande (altho it wasnt the manager's fault really) but has now returned to the great form that knocked spurs outta the uefa cup last year on penalties against psv.

He has certainly improved, and has dispelled the curse that is put on all spurs keepers. By the way Tim, you should play Alnwick more. You being Spurs.

Or you should buy Theo Walcott. But Chelsea will beat you to that. He is only going to cost 400,000 anyway. well we have alnwick and that really good ex-zaragosa ex-MADRID goal keeper as our reserve that everyone seems to forget about and so the press and redknapp keep declaring how spurs need to get a backup keeper

You are all forgetting about the two best and oldest keepers around. David James at age 38 and Mark Crossley playing for Oldham at age 41, who has to have lied about his age as he was playing in the early 1980s...
