Fabiano to Chelsea

Post  Max on Fri Dec 19, 2008 7:06 pm

Luis Fabiano of Sevilla is rumored to be making his 20 million pound way to the bridge, to aid Chelsea's misfiring strike force. Is this the answer Chelsea need?

because Chelsea have a world beater in Drogba and a poacher in Anelka, as well as Di Santo gaining experience as 3rd choice. We need a winger. Badly.

Agreed, they should never have sold Robben.

hm why left winger? Kalou is anus, and Joe Cole isn't actually a winger, his preferred position is in the hole!

I dont like Kalou, he cannot finish, he is average vision wise, and not outstanding anywhere else. I am not one of the people who claim he has a bright future, he will end up in a middle team somewhere in Europe, struggling to make Europe.

Kalou has failed recently, though he still could come good. I'd really prefer if we could find a striker/winger who is ridiculously creative like Messi, but obviously not actually Messi. I wouldn't mind poaching Walcott for 400,000 though

Does Walcott have a stupid release fee? Cos if so that would be funny.

Due to a loophole in FIFA regulations, Theo Walcott could leave Arsenal for the total value of his current contract, 400,000 pounds. This can only be invoked if a player has two or less years on their contract and Walcott is into the last 18 months of his five year 80,000 a year contract and contract negotiations have stalled and Walcott is unhappy that Arsenal cannot offer him a decent wage.

luis fabiano threw a hissy fit when he got subbed off (round 65 min i think) in the game against deportivo today (GREAT game)

he had a pretty average game and bringing capel on for him really added some awesomeness to the team (the manager made some awesome/brave subs in the game - especially for a guy who named such an obviously defensive-minded team).

kanoute hasn't lost anything. he's a great player

yeah woah the game Sevilla vs Deportivo was amazing. Personally I would prefer Capel to go to chelsea because he is good. Him or Navas. Anyway, Kalou sucks crap.
